This dress is simple and elegant with a beautiful crystal, opal, beaded band under the bustline, and button detail in the back, hiding the zipper. The color is light ivory. It has flat ruching from waistline to low hip which creates a flattering silhouette across the waist and tummy. There is light boning in the bodice to shape the torso. Light netting supports the shape of the skirt. It has a short train, and includes a clever hidden loop and buttons to bustle the dress. It has been altered to create a built-in bra. A deep V neckline in both front and back flatters the bust and back, but still provides coverage. I was a size 16 Misses when I wore this dress, just under 5'10 and wore 2-inch heels which was perfect. There were no shortening alterations. The dress was professionally cleaned and boxed immediately following the wedding. It is in excellent condition with no tears or stains.
