Beautiful dress with layers of raw edge silk organza. It is modern and softly romantic at the same time, simple enough to wear in a barn and elegant enough to wear in a ballroom. The dress has a small train (not too overwhelming) that can be seen in the attached photos, as well as a 3 point English bustle. One of my favorite features is how the dress flows when you are walking or the wind is blowing.
Details on sizing and fit: The dress was ordered in a size 2, which turned out to be a street size 6. It was taken in to fit closer to a street size 2. The alterations included extending the internal boning of the dress to make the lines look crisp all day from any angle (no buckling no bulges). It was professionally cleaned and then given back to a professional seamstress to evaluate and address any imperfections. It looks like new again. I cannot note any imperfections.
